A paradise for Nature’s Lovers, Hotel Linda Vista del Norte is located on the southwest side of Arenal Volcano in the village El Castillo. Built on the top of a hill, with a panoramic view of the Volcano and the lake.
The Volcano has been active since 1968 and with a little luck, you can watch the lava running down its sides and hear the thundering it produces. The hotel is located on 173 acres of farm land and forest, owned and operated by a local family and you have the opportunity to walk on the trails or take a horse ride to a spectacular waterfall located on the highest part of the farm.
El Castillo enjoys a healthy and pleasant climate with an average temperature of 24 C (75 F) year around, which comes with refreshing breeze from the Arenal Lake.
We are located in a transition zone between the humid tropical forests to the pre- mountain tropical forest and allow a great variety of flora and fauna.
By taxi, the village of La Fortuna is 45 minutes ($ 20) and the Hot Springs Tabacon you get in 30 minutes ($ 15).
Our Restaurant Linda Vista will delight you with local and international cuisine at a reasonable rate served in our Restaurant or on the panoramic terrace. We have also a separate annex available for conferences and private parties.
The rooms at hotel Linda Vista Del Norte are very spacious with double bed and single bed. All have a private bath and hot water. Each room has a panoramic window which allows guests to enjoy the view right from bed! Or they can relax on their private terrace.
