Sky Tram, with extraordinary views of Arenal Volcano´s south side is located near the Arenal Lake in the village of El Castillo or an easy 30 minute drive from La Fortuna downtown.
The Sky Tram was specially designed and built by Doppelmayr (Austria), it´s an aerial tram with 6 cabins offering visitors a stunning and incomparable view of the Lake and Volcano Arenal.
The tours starts with a 1,2 kilometer long ascent to the observation platform, located at 1050 meters and you will have much time observing the far-reaching rain forest, the peaceful lake, and the majestic volcano Arenal.

SkyTrek (Canopy)
We use prestigious Petzi brand harnesses; they are comfortable and adjustable at the waist and legs. All of our facilities were built and are supervised under strict safety measures.
The Sky Trek pulleys were specially designed in hardened steel with two handles. They support 5.000 kilograms.
We have 11 cables with lengths between 120 feet up 2310 feet and 60 feet height up to 480 feet. It is comprised of several walking trails through the forest. It is safe and innovative. Together, the zip lines complete approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes.

We also offer a shuttle service with round trip door to door transportation from your Arenal Hotel for $8.00 per persons, tax included (free under 6 years old).

There is a restaurant and another large observation deck at the base of Sky Tram with views quite interesting and different from the top Observation Deck.
